Phonat- Ho Visto Un Quadro Verde


First day here I suppose I'll post one of those tracks that just keeps on bringing me back. Hailing from the UK, Phonat's "Ho Visto Un Quadro Verde" by Phonat has this poppy/bouncy bass sound unlike most anything I've heard before. What's different about this song compared to most electro being made these days is it's lack of layers, leaving empty sounds that gives more attention to the quality bass rhythms. Sometimes less is more, and this case, that is definitely true. But you have to give it a chance, because 1:37 is where it picks up wit dem killer riddems. This song's off of Phonat's new self-titled album, so pick it up ASAP, cause this guy's throwing down unique tracks unlike anyone out there.

Here's another track off his new album. "Get Down My Dirty
Street" starts off with hip-hop and funk breaks, but around halfway through it
evolves into a full on electro-funk-rock ripper with guitar solos to suit.
As you can see his talents are as diverse as his songs are unique:
